We’re both musicians, and our shared love for singing was one of the things that bonded us.  Beth is trained in voice and musical theater, and Jonathan sings and likes to teach himself musical instruments—his favorites are piano, guitar, and ukulele.  His favorite way to relieve stress is to sit down at the piano or with his guitar and learn a new song.  We sing around the house and love to work out the harmonies to our favorite songs.  We’ve even been blessed to sing at the weddings of loved ones.   Our house is filled with music.  Beth is a talented actress and dancer as well, and has performed in the city and beyond.  (Her crowning achievement was her self-produced one-woman show, which won a spot in a New York theater festival!); she’s also taught theater arts to children in the schools.  We’re both lovers of movies, dance, and theater, and avid readers as well.  Story time will be a happy tradition in our home!
